Sleepbar® is designed to work best with soft, compressible pillows — like hollow fibre or thin memory foam.

If using a denser pillows such as gel, latex, or thick memory foam, we recommend placing the sleepbar on top of your pillow, with a thinner hollow fiber pillow on top.

If you don’t need access to our sleep sounds or exercises, you can use the Dusker Audio App once to fine-tune the sound to your pillow — then uninstall it.

Sleepbar saves your custom settings permanently, so there’s no need to reopen the app again.

The shutdown timer can be activated anytime by double-tapping the power button — the app just gives greater flexibility for those who need it.

By double tapping the power button you can activate a 30, 60 or 90 minute shutdown timer. This saves battery, and also means your device isnt left playing if you fall asleep.

You can also control the timer from the Dusker Audio App, where you have the freedom to set specific time options from 1 minute.. through to an entire night.

Sleepbar® is designed for side sleeping — where your ear is closest to the pillow.
If you sleep on your back, you likely won’t hear much.

That’s by design: to keep your audio private, the sound is directed straight up — not around your head.

For back sleepers, our Drift Audio Sleep Mask or Headband may be a better fit.

Bluetooth is everywhere these days. It's the same technology you'll find in your earphones, computer keyboard and your cars. Infact - there's a good reason for this.. its incredibly safe.

But based on all current research, using Bluetooth devices poses no meaningful health risks.

For your peace of mind, the shutdown timer and distance from the head (separated by a pillow), should bring you more comfort than wearing in ear earphones.

We hear a lot of people asking this question - but are yet to find a single customer reporting that their device is even a little bit warm!
