While Sleepbar® does work with all pillows - for the best experience we recommend hollow fiber, feather filled pillows, or a thin memory foam pillow. Denser pillows such as gel could lead to reduced volume or muffled sound.

Sleepbar® is the most partner friendly way to listen to sounds in bed without using painful in-ear headphones. As you need to rest your ear against the pillow to hear Sleepbar®, your partner will only hear some very light sound leak.So unless they're a really light sleeper - it's couple friendly!

For just basic use, out of the box, Sleepbar works with any device that has bluetooth.

But to use the Dusker Audio App - which has extra features to allow you to get the best sound quality possible, you’ll need an apple device with IOS 16 or above (IPhone 6s or newer), or an Android Devices Running 10 and above(see this list)

Sleepbar® is still audible when sleeping on your back as long as your head is positioned directly above the device. However, we recommend side-sleeping for the best experience.

So it's an optional 30, 60 or 90 minute timer. You just double tap the power button to switch it on, or off. When the time is up.. your device will turn itself off, saving battery.

Sleepbar® has a powerful battery that lasts around 7 hours.
Thats 14 days when using the 30 minute timer, or a full week with an hours listening each night!

Bluetooth is everywhere these days. It's the same technology you'll find in your earphones, computer keyboard and your cars. Infact - there's a good reason for this.. its incredibly safe.

And as a technology company, its pretty sad that we have to add things like this to our FAQ.

But based on all current research, using Bluetooth devices poses no health risks. In fact, Bluetooth devices even emit less EMF than cell phones, which most people would agree are 100% safe.

We hear a lot of people asking this question - but are yet to find a single customer reporting that their device is even a little bit warm!

Sleepbar® doesn't contain any components that can "heat up" during use - and it consumes very little power during use. It's also manufactured to stringent European safety standards - so you know it will be high quality and free of faults.
